Day 18 - Jan 24
The last round of golf. A threesome, first off, and walking. Played in 3:15 despite stopping to watch warthogs, mongoose, and monkeys at various points. Despite our quick pace, another couple went through us. Tells you something about Americans playing golf. Gave my caddie all my used balls, towel, pitch repair tool and ball markers. Better than a tip, which I gave him anyway. Total money about $12. Green fees were $12.50. Evening took us to the river above the falls for a "booze cruise". Cocktails and finger foods on a "floating dock" powered by twin outboards. Saw many hippopotami (hippopotamuses - whatever) in the water doing their mouth open thing. Were told it was a sign of aggression. Thanks. Final banquet. Private dining room. David ordered the meal. I have the menu around somewhere but by now you must be tired of the eating scenes.
