Day 3 - Jan 9
Up fairly early for breakfast. Vast spreads of everything from fruit to fish. Settled for a plate of melon, pineapple, orange slices,
and apricots followed by an omelet made on the spot by who else, the Omelet Chef. The first round of golf was scheduled for 9 and so unlimbered the sticks in the baggage storage room where they had all been put the night before. Jitney to the club house and eventually found the practice range. Only time for about 10 swings and off to the 1st tee. For this round we did use carts but it turned out to be the only place we used them. The course was called Lost City Golf Club. Comfortable course whose main claim to fame is the 13th hole. A par 3 from a elevated tee about 165 yds. across a crocodile pit. Real live buggers so there is no hope if you miss the green short. I did not miss. (over the green by 5 yds.). After the golf I went exploring some of the rest of Sun City. Found the casino (did not play) and the entertainment center (video games etc.) and had some lunch. Back to the room for some rest before dinner. The adventure there was a main course of ostrich , somewhat like veal - very good. Some walking around and off to bed.

Here are pictures of another par 3
